ABOUT SPA & MEMBERSHIP
About
The Student Planning Association (SPA) at Auburn University is a student-led organization of the Master of Community Planning program. The purpose of SPA is to stimulate student interest in community planning and design, familiarize students with the practice of planning, help students in attending state and national planning conferences, and to build a strong relationship between the Master of Community Planning program and other programs related to community planning and design. SPA endeavors to improve the scholarship and performance of individuals entering the community planning and design fields.
Membership
Student Planning Association (SPA) membership dues are $15 USD per semester. There is a deadline to join. Revenue generated through dues is used to fund meetings, events, and field trips. We accept dues through Venmo, PayPal, ApplePay, as well as traditional cash, and checks. Contact us with more questions or for more information.

With dues, it will grant you access to the trips and other events. Also, if you want to hold a leadership position (be on the executive board), you have to have your dues paid prior to the deadline.
However, we are aware that some may be unable to pay for their membership dues on time or indefinitely. With this, access to guest speakers and resume workshops will still be available. If you see an issue paying dues on time or at all, contact us and let us know. We can and will work with you. We want everyone to be a part of this amazing organization. See more about dues and its deadline in the form below.
